I've been interested in exploring the relationship between personality types (based on Carl Jung's theory) and adhd, so I started doing some research. It's a complicated subject, but very interesting.
There are many different places to find your personality type. You can take a free personality test here, and a more in-depth version here. I've taken the test multiple times and from multiple sources, and every time it results in INFP. Being that I haven't taken one of these tests in a couple years, I just now took one again ... and sure enough ... INFP!
This puts me in the category of a Dreamer/Idealist. I can agree with that! Actually, I agree with a lot of what this typology theory says about me. INFP's make up 1-3% of the population. Hmmm ... adders are approximately 5% ... pretty close.
I don't have any answers for you today in regards to the relationship between personality type and adhd, but it's something I'm going to continue to explore in detail. As I travel this path of knowledge, you can be certain I'll share what I've found with you.

It will certainly help me learn, but more importantly, it will help ALL OF US adders learn more about ourselves. And that's the key, isn't it?

I read similar article also named tion Deficit Disorder and Personality Types : A Morsel of Genius, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me
